Bard college: College of the Performer

While every bard in one way or another is a performer, those who take the college of the performer use the universal parts in any performance and wield them as their weapons, this college is most often taken by those who partake in either stage or musical performances.

Tough Conditions

When you take this college at 3rd level your used to the sometimes dangerous living conditions of your trade, this allows you to sometimes use that experience to protect yourself. You learn the shield spell, it counts as a bard spell but does not count against the number of bard spells you know. You are able to cast the spell without expending a spell slot a number of times equal to your CHA mod (minimum of once).

Finale

Also gained when you take this college at level 3 you also learn how to show all of those who laugh at you instead of with you the finale they deserve. As an action you can unleash your magic in an untamed, and truly beautiful attack. Firstly you need to choose how many spell slots you want to expend to charge this attack, for every level of spell slots you expend you roll one d6 dice for the damage, than you are able to split these dice between anyone within 30 feet of you, for each person you target, they must roll a dexterity saving throw or take force damage equal to however much you rolled for their damage, or half as much on a successful save. You can only use this ability once per initiative roll or combat encounter.

Inspiring tune

When you reach 6th level the performer is able to further the ability of their inspiration while also powering their own finale. When you use your bardic inspiration feature while in combat you can add an additional buff to the target of your inspiration from the following list:
  • They gain a movement speed bonus equal to your CHA mod * 5(minimum of 5 feet) for one turn.
  • They get a bonus to their next attack roll equal to half your CHA mod (rounded down).
  • They gain a bonus to their AC equal to half your CHA mod (rounded down).
Also you can add a number of dice to your finale ability equal to the number of bardic inspiration dice you have used in the last minute, these extra dice you roll however are your bardic inspiration dice instead of the set d6.

Solo

When you reach 14th level you are able to draw the attention of all those around you to better draw them in for your finale. as an action you are able to take movement equal to your movement speed and play a tune that causes those within a 60 foot radius around you to focus all their attention on you, allies can use this to use their reaction to move up to half their movement speed towards you, and enemies will have disadvantage on attacking anyone but you for this round of combat and your AC is reduced by half your CHA mod (rounded down) as using the solo leaves you vulnerable. After using solo you are able to use the attention that you have now to draw on even more power for your finale, for every other enemy that you affect with solo increased the damage dice by one size for your finale (d6-d8-d10-d12), however after using a finale that was altered by solo you gain one level of exhaustion*. Also gained at this level is the ability to use finale twice within one combat encounter, as you learned how to make a sequel.
